Game Gear Titles Re-Rated for the 3DS

From one handheld to another, it looks like Game Gear games will soon be coming to the 3DS. The ESRB has re-rated Sonic Triple Trouble and Shinobi for Nintendo’s latest handheld.

Way back in 2011, Nintendo promised that we would have access to more than just their own titles through the 3DS Virtual Console. Sega even pledged that there would be five Game Gear titles available in the eShop at launch. Though that never happened, the ESRB re-ratings have us hopeful that the games will soon be making their big debut.

Now Sega, this news is awesome and all, but I have just one question. Where the heck is my Ecco the Dolphin?
