BioWare Updating their Tome of Errors into an Actual Book

It’s been only four days and BioWare have taken flak from their community over all the errors in the most recent tie-in novel, Retribution. A number of fans have taken to collecting the errors in the book on a public Google Documents page. The list is hilariously massive.

Penny Arcade even tackled the issue yesterday with in their usual style.

Chris Priestly, the Community Manager at BioWare, took the the forums to quell the brewing disdain, “The teams at Del Rey and BioWare would like to extend our sincerest apologies to the Mass Effect fans for any errors and oversights made in the recent novel Mass Effect: Deception.  We are currently working on a number of changes that will appear in future editions of the novel.”

This is my favorite error on the document: “13. Quarian clothing – Quarians wear environmentally sealed suits to protect their weakened immune systems. They do not wear “a motley collection of clothing, held together by a variety of straps and metal fasteners”. [Error: Lore]“
